Enterprise AI is an execution problem
The model is rarely the bottleneck. The systems it needs to act on usually are.

This essay hasn't been written yet. Below is the working premise and the questions it will try to answer.
The premise
Most enterprise AI pilots don't fail because the model is weak. They stall because the AI can't take governed action in the systems where work happens — orders, inventory, suppliers, customers. The winners will treat execution as the product.
Questions I want to answer
- 1.Why do so many AI pilots stall between demo and production?
- 2.What does it actually mean for an agent to “take action” inside a large enterprise?
- 3.Who should own AI execution — IT, data, or the business?
